  • Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, session duration, and referral URLs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 7 below.

1.3 Information from Third-Party Platforms

If you sign in or connect an account from a third-party platform (for example, TikTok, Google, Apple, Discord, Steam, or a Web3 wallet provider), we receive information from that platform as authorized by you and by the platform. See Section 2 for details on TikTok specifically.

2. TikTok Data

When you connect your TikTok account to the Services or use any feature powered by TikTok APIs (including TikTok Login Kit, Display API, or Content Posting API), we may receive and process the following data from TikTok, subject to the permissions you authorize:

  • Profile information: your TikTok open ID, union ID, display name, avatar URL, and bio.
  • Content information: videos and metadata you choose to display or share through the Services, such as captions, thumbnails, view counts, and public statistics.
  • Authorization tokens: access and refresh tokens used to maintain your authorized connection with TikTok.

How We Use TikTok Data

We use TikTok data only to:

  1. Authenticate you and create or link your Source Interactive account.
  2. Display your TikTok profile or content within the Services where you have requested it.
  3. Publish content to your TikTok account on your direct instruction.
  4. Maintain the integrity and security of the integration (for example, refreshing expired tokens).

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade TikTok data to any third party.
  • We do not use TikTok data for independent advertising, re-targeting, or profile-building outside the Services.
  • We do not share TikTok data with data brokers, analytics providers used for advertising, or AI training pipelines.

Retention and Deletion of TikTok Data

We retain TikTok data only as long as necessary to provide the integrated features or as required by law. You may disconnect your TikTok account at any time by:

  • Revoking Source Interactive’s access from your TikTok app settings (tiktok.com/setting), or

When you disconnect, we delete the associated TikTok tokens and profile data from our active systems within 30 days, subject to backup cycles and legal retention requirements.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create, operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts.
  • Provide in-game matchmaking, leaderboards, and social features.

  • Detect, investigate, and prevent cheating, fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Communicate with you about updates, events, support requests, and policy changes.
  • Personalize your experience and recommend content.
  • Conduct analytics and research to understand how players use the Services.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA / UK / Similar Jurisdictions)

Where required by law (for example, under GDPR), we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:

  • Contract — to deliver the Services you request.
  • Legitimate interests — to secure the Services, prevent fraud, improve our games, and run our business, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent — for marketing communications, certain cookies, and where otherwise required by law.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with applicable law.

You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information.

  • Service providers. We use vendors for hosting, content delivery, analytics, payment processing, customer support, anti-cheat, email delivery, and similar functions. They are bound by contract to use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Platform partners. When you use features powered by a third-party platform (for example, TikTok publishing, Discord login), we exchange the minimum information necessary to operate the feature at your direction.
  • Other players. Your public profile (username, avatar, statistics, posts) and any User Content you make public are visible to other users.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, court orders, or lawful requests; to enforce our Terms; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Source Interactive, our users, or others; or in connection with fraud prevention and security investigations.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
  • With your consent. For any other purpose disclosed at the time you provide the information.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods include:

  • Account data: while your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward.
  • Transaction records: as required by tax, accounting, and anti-fraud laws (typically 7 years).
  • Support tickets: up to 3 years after resolution.

  • Backups and logs: up to 90 days after routine deletion.

When retention is no longer required, we delete or anonymize the information.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you signed in.
  • Remember your preferences.
  • Measure traffic and usage.
  • Detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
  • Deliver and measure limited advertising where applicable.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may impact functionality. Where required by law, we will request your consent before using non-essential cookies.

  • Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email source.interactive.games@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, or submit a request through your account settings. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request. Where permitted, you may appeal any denial by replying to our response.

Account and data deletion, including full deletion of TikTok-related data, can be requested at any time at source.interactive.games@gmail.com.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions that apply a higher age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. 10. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may be located in other countries. Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed outside your country of residence, including in countries that may have different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect cross-border transfers.

11. Security

We use commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice (for example, by email or an in-Service notification). Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
